In November we took a field trip to That Fish Place/That Pet Place in Lancaster, PA.
http://www.thatpetplace.com/ It is technically a retail store, but within the 88,000 square feet of the building, there are many creatures to see! Here are a few:

They have quite an assortment of small reptiles, tarantulas, scorpions, small mammals, Flemish giant rabbits, and all manner of freshwater and saltwater aquatic life such as fish, crabs, frogs, eels, and more. The children enjoyed the trip and saw a lot of creatures they had never seen before.
