We almost didn't meet for the snow badge because it actually snowed that morning! Four families were able to make it and most others completed the badge at home. We learned about what snow is, how it happens, what snowflakes look like up close, who "Snowflake" Bentley was, and more. We talked about snow records locally and around the world, and of course we made lots of paper snowflakes!
